Yogurt Bark

Frozen yogurt bark is essentially a grab-from-the-freezer snack that you build in about 8 minutes on a weekend, then forget about until the week is hectic.

Yogurt Bark
Make ahead: Make a batch on Sunday evening and keep it in a zip-top freezer bag all week; pieces stay good for up to 2 months in the freezer.

How to make it

  1. Line a small sheet pan with parchment paper.

  2. Spread yogurt in an even layer about a quarter-inch thick across the pan.

  3. Scatter berries on top, drizzle with honey, and freeze at least 4 hours or overnight.

  4. Break into pieces and serve straight from the freezer.

Stonyfield Organic whole milk vanilla yogurt spreads evenly and freezes with a good creamy texture. Costco's Kirkland frozen mixed berries work perfectly and cost a fraction of fresh; Trader Joe's frozen wild blueberries are another solid pick that kids love for the color they bleed into the yogurt.

Swap honey for maple syrup to keep it fully plant-based; use flavored yogurt (strawberry or mango) and skip the honey entirely for a no-sweetener-added version; let kids press the toppings in before it goes in the freezer so they have a stake in eating it.
