Snacky Dinner Board
No-cook dinner that kids get excited about because it looks like a party. Pull out a large cutting board or a rimmed sheet pan and start arranging: sliced turkey or ham from the deli, a couple of cheeses like Cabot sharp cheddar and Babybel, a handful of Simple Mills or Ritz crackers, Sabra classic hummus, grapes or strawberries, and baby carrots or cucumber rounds. Nothing is cooked. Nothing is heated.

How to make it
Pull out a large cutting board or sheet pan.
Arrange cheese, deli meat, and crackers in sections.
Fill in gaps with fruit, veggies, and small bowls of hummus or dip.
Set the board in the middle of the table and let everyone graze.
The trick is variety without complexity. Trader Joe's sells pre-sliced cheese packs, Applegate has good deli turkey with a clean ingredient list, and Whole Foods 365 hummus comes in single-serve cups if you want less waste. Give each kid a small plate and let them pick from the board; grazing-style eating removes a lot of mealtime friction.
Swap or add as needed: apple slices with nut butter, pepperoni, snap peas, pita triangles, mini pickles, or hard-boiled eggs. This is a great movie-night dinner or a Friday wind-down when no one wants to stand at a stove.
