Overview
Altitude Trampoline Park sits inside the Great Mall in Milpitas at 147 Great Mall Drive — the trampoline park option for South Bay families, and notably more than just open trampolines. The main floor covers wall-to-wall jump surfaces, a dodgeball court, a ninja warrior obstacle course, and air bag landing zones. For kids with energy to burn and zero interest in sitting still, two hours here will actually wear them out. Note: This file was originally tagged as Urban Air. Urban Air does not operate a Milpitas location — the trampoline park at this address is Altitude, which has been at the Great Mall since 2019.

How to Do It
Great Mall has a large surface parking lot with free parking — enter from Great Mall Pkwy or McCarthy Ranch. The Altitude entrance is accessible from inside the mall near the food court wing; look for signage once you're through the main mall entrance closest to Montague Expressway. If you're coming from 237 or 680, the Montague/McCarthy Ranch entrance drops you closest to the right parking section. Transit options are limited — VTA Route 60 stops at Great Mall, but parking is easy enough that most families drive.
At the door, buy tickets (or show your booking confirmation) and get fitted for grip socks before entering the jump floor. The space is divided into zones: a main trampoline field, a dedicated dodgeball court, the ninja warrior course, and a toddler area — though the toddler section is smaller and sometimes closed for private events, so call ahead if that's the main draw. For kids 4-8, the ninja warrior obstacles and the air bag launch area typically hold attention the longest. Spend the first 30 minutes letting kids free-roam the main floor, then steer toward the course.
Tips & Tricks
Grip socks are mandatory and sold at the front desk for around $3-4 if you forget yours. The ones they sell are reusable, so hang onto them — every trampoline park in this format requires them and you'll use them again. If you sign up for an Altitude membership (even a short trial), the socks are included and you pay a reduced rate per visit, which can be worth it if you plan to come more than twice in a season.

Weekend afternoons — roughly 1pm to 4pm on Saturdays — are peak hours and the floor gets genuinely crowded. Weekday mornings and the first hour when doors open at 10am are substantially calmer. If you have a kid under 5, that toddler zone crowding matters: check before you go whether it's open that day by calling (408) 217-6008.
The ninja warrior course is height-gated, not age-gated — kids under a certain height threshold can't access some obstacles. If your 4-year-old is on the smaller side, the dodgeball and main trampoline floor are where they'll actually fit. Confirm the current height requirements at the desk when you arrive; they change based on which configuration is running.
Bring a change of socks for kids who sweat through theirs — sweaty grip socks lose traction fast and kids notice. Pack water and a light snack for after; the park has a concession area inside the mall but it's standard mall food court fare.
Planning
Admission: Walk-in day pass pricing is not posted publicly online — call (408) 217-6008 or check the website before you visit for current rates. Membership tiers start at approximately $34.99-39.99 per month with unlimited daily play (up to 3 hours/day) and are worth running the math on if you're a regular. The first-month promotional rate has historically been around $19.99 including grip socks and a $10 game card.
Hours: Monday-Thursday 10am-8pm, Friday-Saturday 10am-9pm, Sunday 11am-7pm.
Reservations: Walk-ins are accepted. Reservations are not required but are recommended for large groups or birthday parties.
What to bring: Grip socks (or buy at the door), water bottle, change of clothes for younger kids. No outside food or coolers permitted inside the park. Leave the stroller in the car — there's no useful stroller space inside.
Ages: The floor is rated for all ages but the real sweet spot is 4-10. Under 4, the scale of the space and the pace of other jumpers can overwhelm. The toddler zone helps when it's open. Kids 5-8 get the most from the combined attractions.
Best time to go: Any rainy or hot day. Avoid the Friday evening and Saturday afternoon rush if your kid is overwhelmed by noise and crowds. Summer camp runs weeks in the summer for ages 5-12 if you want a structured program rather than free-jump.
